ARTTRA offers interesting workshops as a teambuilding
activity. But also for people who would like to do something
with a group of art lovers! Such as really digging into
a museum collection or painting in a real studio: thanks
to our longstanding experience we offer each and every
group the appropriate approach!
Obviously, our guides are dedicated specialists, also
available for foreign guests. All this might be combined
with drinks, lunch, dinner or a walking or boat tour.
Everyone knows his portraits
of Marilyn Monroe, Mao and Beatrix.
The multifaceted pop art genius
Andy Warhol, son of Czech immigrants,
started his career as an advertising
draughtsman. In the 1960s he
introduced his images of everyday
products in his works of art:
the famous Campbell’s
soup cans, Brillo and Coca Cola
as the ultimate icons of American
consumer society. The world-famous
works were brought to life on
canvas using silkscreen techniques
and manipulating new or in many
cases existing photos.
You will apply similar methods
in the workshop. The artist/instructor
will prepare photos of the participants
submitted in advance that will
later be placed and painted
on the canvas. The result? Your
very own self-portrait à la Andy Warhol!
You can enjoy a delicious Italian
or Dutch lunch in the studio
prior to indulging your creative
talents.
Prices depending on
your wishes and the number of
participants.
